TAXI 22 (CBS/CTS; W: ; D: TBA) - The Eye has given a pilot order to a long-in-the-works import of the French Canadian single-camera comedy, about "a misanthropic and politically incorrect NYC cab driver in the vein of Archie Bunker." Originally set up at HBO in 2010 with the late James Gandolfini executive producing, the project subsequently found its way to CBS last summer. Tad Quill penned the script, succeeding such auspices as Brett C. Leonard, Dave Flebotte and Kenneth Lonergan. CBS Television Studios is behind the half-hour with Dennis Erdman, Clark Peterson, Patrick Huard, Francois Flamand, Nancy Sanders and Mark Armstrong also serving as executive producers. UNTITLED EVE PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Actress-rapper Eve (UPN's "Eve") is set to topline a potential multi-camera comedy at the network billed as an interracial romantic comedy. YOUNGER (TV Land; W: Darren Star; D: TBA) - Hilary Duff is set to star opposite Sutton Foster in the comedy pilot, about Liza (Foster), a suddenly-single New Jersey housewife and mother in her early 40s who, unable to restart her career, decides to lie about her age and successfully passes herself off as a twentysomething. She'll play Kelsey, "a smart ambitious 20-something who welcomes Liza to the publishing firm, treats her as a contemporary and makes a concerted effort to integrate her into her social life, having no idea that Liza is a decade older." Said effort is based on the novel by Pamela Redmond Satran (Deadline.com)
