Best of Colin's Cage Confessionals Airs Wednesday, Jan. 22 on ESPN2

Colin Cowherd will host a countdown of the best moments from the inaugural season of Colin's New Football Show on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The 30-minute show, Best of Colin's Cage Confessionals, will take a look back at the season's best "Cage Confessional" segments. In addition to counting down the best of, Cowherd will debut a new Cage Confessional as part of the show with actor and comedian Kevin Hart.

"The best part of doing this show is taking chances on funny ideas and trying to make each other laugh," said Cowherd. "Some bits work, others not so much, but I'm having as much fun doing TV as I've ever had."

Cage Confessionals, filmed in the prop cage at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., offer an intimate and lighthearted interview between Cowherd and athletes, celebrities and guests - tackling a wide variety of topics and appropriately, a never-before-made confession. Past interviewees of Cage Confessionals have included iconic television and radio host Larry King, NFL Hall of Famer Barry Sanders, Anchorman's Champ Kind, and most recently Florida State's ball boy best known as Red Lightning. To date, the highest viewed Cage Confessional on YouTube is with Champ Kind followed by Red Lightning.

"It takes a Cage Confessional to uncover that Red Lightning eats gummy worms out of his ball boy pouch or that Champ Kind actually got his catchphrase 'Whammy!' from Ron Burgundy himself," said Cowherd. "Call me a ground-breaking journalist if you want. With earth-shaking scoops like that, it's certainly what I tell myself."

Colin's New Football Show, which made its debut on Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. on ESPN2, puts Cowherd's opinions, unique take on football and irreverent view of life on full display every Sunday, culminating February 2, the morning of the Super Bowl. Cowherd is also host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd which airs weekdays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on ESPN Radio, espnradio.com, ESPN Radio app, Sirius XM and simulcast of ESPNU.
