FXX SETS "LEGIT" SEASON TWO AND "ALI G: REZURECTION" PREMIERE DATE

Legit Season Two Premieres Wednesday, February 26th at 10:00 PM ET/PT

Ali G: Rezurection Will Premiere Following Legit at 10:30 PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, January 16, 2014 - FXX has set the premiere date of February 26th for the second season of its original comedy series Legit and Ali G: Rezurection. Legit will air at 10 PM ET/PT, followed by Ali G: Rezurection at 10:30 PM ET/PT.

Season two of Legit goes a bit deeper with comedian Jim Jefferies pondering why he's never had a relationship longer than six months; whether he's a sex addict; and how to deal with an extended visit from his parents and his roommates' dad, Walter (John Ratzenberger). With responsibility also falling on Jim's shoulders to cover for his roommate Steve (Dan Bakkedahl) - who has descended into alcoholism after losing his daughter to his ex-wife - Jim juggles his unnatural inclination to be a good guy with an overwhelming desire to take his career to the next level and rekindle a romance with his high school sweetheart. Meanwhile, Jim's other roommate, Billy (DJ Qualls), faces an earth-shattering loss while adjusting to new muscular dystrophy medications and an unconventional romantic relationship.

Peter O'Fallon, Jim Jefferies and Lisa Blum serve as Executive Producers of Legit. The series is produced by FX Productions.

Ali G: Rezurection includes every episode of Da Ali G Show with new, original introductions starring Sacha Baron Cohen, along with the BAFTA Award-winning English episodes of Da Ali G Show that never aired on American television and The Best of Ali G. Da Ali G Show debuted on Channel 4 in the U.K. in 2003. A character created by Baron Cohen, Ali G originated on Channel 4'sThe 11 O'clock Show and was spun off into Da Ali G Show. Baron Cohen produced 18 episodes, with 12 of those episodes airing on HBO in the U.S.
