AMAZON AND CBS ANNOUNCE EXTENSION OF CONTENT LICENSING AGREEMENT

NEW YORK and SEATTLE - Jan. 29, 2014 - CBS Corporation and Amazon.com, Inc. today announced an expansion and extension of their content licensing agreement to continue to bring classic series and hit TV shows from CBS Television Distribution and Showtime Networks to Amazon's Prime Instant Video service. As a result of the extension, a vast catalog of CBS content will be made available for Prime members to instantly stream and enjoy at no additional cost. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With this agreement, Prime Instant Video customers will continue to get CBS and SHOWTIME fan-favorite TV series such as "Medium," "The Tudors," the complete "Star Trek" franchise, "I Love Lucy" and others - as well as new titles such as "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior," "Penn & Teller" and "Vegas." All programming will stream in Prime Instant Video commercial-free at no additional cost on Kindle Fire HD, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Roku, Xbox, PlayStation and Wii, among other devices. To sign up for Amazon Prime, visit www.amazon.com/primeinstantvideo.

"We are very pleased to continue expanding our partnership with Amazon," said Scott Koondel, Chief Corporate Licensing Offer for CBS Corporation. "CBS content is clearly a great match with Prime Instant Video's growing user base, including THE GOOD WIFE being the service's #1 show this past fourth quarter, as well as strong viewership of UNDER THE DOME over the summer. We look forward to UNDER THE DOME Season 2 this summer, along with EXTANT, and all that we will continue to do to provide great programming to our mutual customers."

Amazon's Prime Instant Video service recently announced it will be the exclusive premium subscription home for the upcoming CBS summer series EXTANT, produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Halle Berry. This follows CBS and Amazon's highly successful subscription video-on-demand model for last summer's #1 series UNDER THE DOME, which averaged 15.06 million viewers and was the most-watched scripted summer series in 21 years. UNDER THE DOME Season 1 was also watched by more customers than any other TV series on Prime Instant Video last year. The Prime Instant Video library now features more than 40,000 movies and TV episodes, including fan-favorite shows such as "Downton Abbey," "Fringe" and "The West Wing," as well as blockbuster movies including "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol," "Rango" and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."
