NICKTOONS ROLLS OUT SEASON TWO OF SKATEBOARD PRO ROB DYRDEK'S ANIMATED COMEDY SERIES, "WILD GRINDERS," WEDNESDAY, FEB. 5, AT 8:30 P.M. (ET)

Guest Voices Include Professional Skateboarders Ryan Sheckler, Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole and Paul Rodriguez

NEW YORK - Feb. 4, 2013 - Nicktoons is set to launch season two of the kickin' animated series Wild Grinders, inspired by professional skateboarder and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek's (Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness) real-life experiences, on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 8:30 p.m. (ET). The second season (26 episodes) of the half-hour series continues the comic adventures of Lil Rob, Meaty and his middle school skate crew, known as Wild Grinders, who are bound by their love of skateboarding. The show is created and executive produced by Dyrdek, is produced in partnership with Home Plate Entertainment and Dyrdek's SuperJacket Productions. Telegael, Top Draw Animation, and Big Jump are also co-producers on the HD production. Following the premiere, Wild Grinders will air regularly on Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons.

This season, complete with amped up fantasy and comedy follows the Wild Grinders crew as they make new friendships, skate in and out of dilemmas, undertake new challenges and experience even more epic adventures together. From saving Sprawl City from an alien robot, competing in an epic battle of the bands, spending the night in a haunted house to getting stranded on a desert island, each episode of Wild Grinders is infused with adventure, fun and friendship. Viewers also have the opportunity to hear some of their favorite professional skateboarders, Ryan Sheckler (Life with Ryan), Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole, Paul Rodriguez and phenom 14-year-old skater Jagger Eaton, guest star throughout the season.

Beginning with the premiere, "Grindbox 1080: Start / Grindbox 1080: Game Over," when a sequel to Lil Rob and the Wild Grinders' favorite video game is finally released, the game ends up being a huge disappointment. Taking matters into their own hands, Lil Rob decides the Wild Grinders should make their own video game & game console, the GrindBox 1080. Soon things take a crazy turn when Lil Rob and Stubford get stuck in the video game and must battle through various levels or be stuck in the game forever.

The Wild Grinders cast includes: Rob Dyrdek as Lil Rob and Gene; Chanel West Coast (Fantasy Factory) as Flipz; Kel Mitchell (Kenan & Kel) as Jay Jay; and Erin Fitzgerald (Ed, Edd & Eddy, Monster High) as Stubford.

Viewers can visit Nicktoons.com through Feb. 4 to watch full episodes from season one of Wild Grinders. Beginning Feb. 5, fans can play a brand-new game, "Wild Grinders: Industry Escape," where a crazy jetpack crash lands Lil Rob on the top floor of Hucksterball Industries and Stubford has to activate the laser security system to catch him. In this fast-paced platformer game, kids will have to skate their way down the building to escape without getting hit by lasers. Full-length episodes from season two will be available the day after the on-air premiere on the Emmy-award winning Nick App.

Wild Grinders is a kickin' animated comedy about Lil Rob, a quick-thinking skater kid. The series also features Lil Rob's talking right-hand dog Meaty (inspired by Dyrdek's bull-dog of the same name), his best friend Goggles, and their middle school skate crew, the Wild Grinders. The series follows the friends and their escapades around their hometown of Sprawl City and at their beloved skate spot, The Lot.
