Adult Swim Fun House Provides College Students a Much-Needed Break with 10-City Tour

One-of-a-Kind Experience Hits Campuses Starting February 20

Adult Swim today announced that the 2014 Adult Swim Fun House is hitting the road this spring, embarking on a 12-week, 10-city national college tour, sponsored by Ice Breakers(R) Mints and KFC. The network will offer fans the opportunity to get lost within a 40-foot tall inflatable castle featuring 15 distinct rooms themed after popular Adult Swim shows including Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Childrens Hospital, Loiter Squad, Metalocalypse, Robot Chicken and Squidbillies. The free tour - open to guests 18 and older - will kick off on Feb. 20 at the University of California, Riverside.

As guests of the Adult Swim Fun House make their way through the network-inspired mayhem, their random paths will dictate whether they must crawl, slide or sing their way to the exit. Sponsored by Ice Breakers Mints, the Karaoke Cage will encourage participants to sing their hearts out to one of the preselected songs. Once outside of the cage, they'll be able to soothe their vocal chords with sampling of some free Ice Breakers Mints at each stop. Guests will also traverse the KFC-sponsored Tippy Tunnel, a kaleidoscopic hallway located within the castle, will sample KFC products at select locations, and can document their Adult Swim Fun House experience in a "How Do You KFC?" photo booth located outside the Fun House. "How Do You KFC?" is a movement that celebrates the real, authentic connections KFC's biggest fans have with the brand. They'll also be treated to free, live screen printed t-shirts and can watch as others attempt to break free of the castle. Both Ice Breakers Mints and KFC will also receive custom on-air spots promoting their respective sponsorships of the Adult Swim Fun House that will run on the network beginning the week of Feb. 24.

"As the top-rated network among adults 18-34, Adult Swim consistently delivers young adult audiences to our advertising partners trying to reach that highly-coveted millennial audience," said Joe Hogan, executive vice president, Young Adult Ad Sales for Turner Broadcasting. "The Adult Swim Fun House is a great example of the kinds of high-impact, unique opportunities we've created for our partners that bring them even closer to their desired audience, while remaining on-brand and delivering on our promise to our fans."

The Adult Swim Fun House tour will be open to people ages 18 and older and will be free to enter. At each of the 10 tour locations, a limited number of tickets will be distributed one hour prior to the event opening each day. The tour dates and locations are:

KFC is also sponsoring an online photo gallery where you can peruse photos from the tour stops, as well as an online activity wherein fans can design their own t-shirts using designs and templates provided by Adult Swim. The top five designs will be selected by the network, put up to a fan vote, and one winning design will be printed. Fans can then enter for a chance to win a free, newly-printed shirt in a sweepstakes that will be hosted on the website.
