LENA DUNHAM TO HOST "SNL" ON MARCH 8 WITH MUSICAL GUEST THE NATIONAL New York, NY - February 25, 2014 - Lena Dunham will make her SNL hosting debut on March 8. Dunham created and currently stars in the HBO series, "Girls." The National will make their first appearance as musical guest. Their most recent album, "Trouble Will Find Me," received a 2014 Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album and their documentary "Mistaken For Strangers" hits theaters last week of March. SNL returns March 1 with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck. "Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
