"BAR RESCUE" IS BACK IN BUSINESS!

ALL NEW EPISODES RETURN SUNDAY, MARCH 9th AT 9:00 PM ET/PT

Spike TV's hit series "Bar Rescue" continues with new episodes of its third season starting Sunday, March 9 at 9:00 PM, ET/PT, with renowned bar and nightlife consultant Jon Taffer traveling cross country to bars on their last legs, desperate for a final shot at success. This time around, "Bar Rescue" rehabilitates a selection of bars across US cities including: Omaha, NE, Los Angeles, CA, Kansas City, MO, and Dallas, TX.

In "Bar Rescue," Taffer travels nationwide, targeting a different failing establishment in each episode. His approach may ruffle feathers along the way, but Taffer pulls no punches and values bottom lines above hurt feelings. Owners and employees he believes are standing in the way of success are urged to check their egos at the door, as he employs a proven scientific approach to solving the problems befalling bars. From devising menu layouts that steer customers to the most profitable items, to analyzing the rate of alcohol consumption in relation to tempo of music, to aligning furniture to encourage more eye contact and social interaction, he leaves no stone unturned in his mission to reinvigorate the struggling businesses in danger of total failure. In addition to Taffer's expertise, "Bar Rescue" also features a rotating group of industry experts.

In the first episode back, "Bar Rescue" heads to O'Banions Lounge and Grill in Omaha, NE, where Taffer clashes with a heavy drinking owner at this Irish sports bar, before he's the subject of a hostile takeover... by his business partners.

Currently in its third season, Spike TV's hit original series, "Bar Rescue" stars seasoned bar and nightlife veteran Jon Taffer. From the producers of "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" and the first 11 powerhouse seasons of "The Biggest Loser," "Bar Rescue" features Taffer, as he wields his nearly three decades of experience in the restaurant, bar and nightclub business to help give failing establishments one last chance to transform themselves into profitable businesses.
