PROMISED LAND (Amazon, New!) - Noah Oppenheim and Chris Bremner are developing a potential drama at the streaming service which "takes viewers into the book of Joshua in a sweeping biblical tale told through the eyes of two brothers, one high born and the other a low level soldier" ultimately telling "how Joshua became the leader of the Jews and the Israelites became a nation." Adam Sher will also serve as an executive produce on the project. (THR.com)
UNTITLED DANA MIN GOODMAN/JULIA WOLOV PROJECT (TV Land, New!) - "Faking It" creators Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov have sold a single-camera comedy to the cable channel "loosely based on their real-life experiences when they moved in together after going through breakups at the same time." Said duo will play versions of themselves in the project in addition to writing and executive producing. (Deadline.com)
