Brand New City, All New Cast...

"TATTOO NIGHTMARES MIAMI" TAKES ON THE TATTOOS THAT NO OTHER ARTISTS WOULD DARE

Series Premieres Tuesday, September 2 at 11 PM, ET/PT As Part of Spike's #Tattoosday Programming Block

New York, NY, August 19, 2014 - It's a brand new city and three brand new hot-shot artists who feel the Miami heat as they take on impossible tattoo challenges and the most exasperating clients yet with the series premiere of "Tattoo Nightmares Miami" on Tuesday, September 2 at 11 PM, ET/PT on Spike. The show is a spinoff of the network's successful "Tattoo Nightmares" original series, which is based in an LA shop.

In addition to the jaw-dropping cover-ups that "Tattoo Nightmares" is already well-known for, the Miami shop tackles nightmare tattoos other shops have turned away. For example, tattoo placement over a horrific scar, an entire head, a giant mole or an elbow or knee, as well as using materials such as glow-in-the-dark ink or new techniques like water color style tattoos. It's up to three brand new artists to translate all these problematic and difficult tattoos into stunning works of art.

The three new artists of "Tattoo Nightmares Miami" come together with diverse backgrounds. The three started this new shop to service the growing needs of extreme clients where the more bizarre the tattoo and story behind them, the better. The shop's artists are Clint Cummings, a former contestant on "Ink Master" season 2; local artist Samuel Suarez, better known to his clients as High Noon and female fine artist and tattooist, Reese Hilburn.

"Tattoo Nightmares" is among the new crop of Spike original series that deliver a gender-balanced audience. The current season is averaging 1.1 million viewers has improved the time period by +147% in Adults 18-49 and 82% in average audience. Among all ad-supported cable channels in the Tuesday 10-11:30 PM time period, Spike TV's tattoo-themed programming block "Ink Master" and "Tattoo Nightmares" ranks in the Top 5 among Adults, Men and Women 18-49 and 18-34.

Both "Tattoo Nightmares Miami" and "Tattoo Nightmares" are produced by 495 Productions with Founder and President SallyAnn Salsano serving as Executive Producer along with Joel Zimmer of 495 Productions.

Sharon Levy is Spike TV's Executive Vice President, Original Series and Chris Rantamaki is Senior Vice President of Original Series for Spike TV. Hayley Lozitsky, Vice President of Original Series and Tony Nguyen, Manager of Original Series serves as the Executives in Charge of Production for "Tattoo Nightmares Miami."
