"UNTOLD WITH MARIA MENOUNOS" RETURNS THURSDAY, AUGUST 28th AT 8:00PM ET/PT

Featuring Exclusive Interviews And Insider Access, "Untold" Offers A Revealing Look At Three Hot Topics: Rabid Star Stalkers, Rags To Riches Reality Celebrities And EDM, The Massive Movement Taking The Music Scene By Storm

Los Angeles, CA - August 19, 2014 - "Untold With Maria Menounos," the newsmagazine show that turns a close-up lens on some of the biggest pop culture stories dominating water cooler talk, premieres its second installment on Thursday, August 28th at 8:00pm ET/PT. This time "Untold" goes beyond the headlines to take a closer look at three major pop culture topics: "Star Stalkers," which investigates how celebrities and the Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Unit are handling crazy, and often dangerous, fans; "Rags To Reality," which examines how two massively popular reality stars started out with nothing and then turned their 15-minutes of fame into multi-million dollar empires; and the "EDM-Pire," which goes behind-the-scenes to discover what has made the Electronic Dance Music scene explode in recent years.

In "Star Stalkers," "Untold" takes an in-depth look at Los Angeles' Threat Management Unit (TMU) that deals not only with potential threats to the city, but also handles celebrity stalking cases, like the recent incidents with Academy Award winning actress Sandra Bullock, and singers Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. We examine how the death of 80's television star Rebecca Schaeffer at the hands of stalker Robert Bardo led to TMU'S creation and how they handle stalking cases now. No stranger to rabid fans, Paris Hilton sits with Menounos and discloses a chilling, untold moment about her personal encounter with a threatening stalker on her own property, and what she has done to protect herself since then. Menounos also gets a revealing lesson from Security Investigative Analyst and former Secret Service special agent, Evy Poumpouras, about how she could easily become a stalker's victim through what she putting out on social media, and how to protect herself.

In "Rags to Reality," "Untold" sits down with Snooki and JWoww, two of reality TV's biggest stars, for a revealing look at the ups and downs of celebrity. The girls talk through their intense journey, from life before fame when they had limited money to when they realized they were famous after being attacked by crazy fans and hob-nobbing with A-list celebrities. Snooki and JWoww show fans exactly how they took their 15-minutes of fame and made themselves into global brands with staying power. Plus "Untold" gets an exclusive look into their homes, including Snooki's new New Jersey home that is currently under construction, funded by Jersey Shore bucks and her brand merchandise.

Finally, "Untold" looks at the "EDM-Pire" and examines how electronic dance music is changing the sound of music after blowing up into a $20 BILLION industry! Mega music stars are collaborating with EDM artists to create fresh new music, and even Obama's campaign featured the dub-step! Now these DJ's are selling out venues faster than some of today's biggest music sensations, and they are making more money annually than some A-list movie stars. The series gets insight into how this massive industry has grown through a rare interview with Pasquale Rotella, the creator of what is now the largest festival in America, the Electronic Daisy Carnival - an event that is credited with bringing the EDM movement out into the open. Additionally, fans get special access to the DJ's who are shaping this trend through an exclusive at-home interview with the legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at DJ Afrojack in Las Vegas.

Get the whole story when "Untold With Maria Menounos" goes behind the headlines with the second installment on Thursday, August 28th at 8:00pm ET/PT.
