China's Dragon TV to Air 10 Episodes of The Goddesses' New Clothes Based on NBC's "Fashion Star"

CHINA'S DRAGON TV TO AIR 10 EPISODES OF THE GODDESSES' NEW CLOTHES BASED ON NBC'S "FASHION STAR"
The Show is Co-Produced by Electus International, Hitao, Blue Flame and Dragon TV
Los Angeles, CA (August TK, 2014)--Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), today announced that it is co-producing 10 episodes of The Goddesses' New Clothes with Dragon TV, Hitao and Blue Flame. The show, based on the U.S. show Fashion Star, premiered on Dragon TV on Saturday, August 23.
In The Goddesses' New Clothes six female celebrities will design and model "themed" clothes with the help of professional designers to win orders from shop owners at tmall.com--one of China's largest e-commerce sites. The show will continue in its current slot, airing on Saturday nights at 9:15pm.
"Fashion Star attracted audiences and advertisers in a never before seen way," said Cyrus Farrokh, VP of Distribution at Electus. "By co-producing The Goddesses' New Clothes we were able to localize the Fashion Star format with much more success than we could have done with only a format deal."
Airing on NBC from 2012-2013, the original format gave 12 eager young designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize of launching their original collections in three of the nation's largest fashion retailers. Fashion Star is currently airing on Vietnam's VTV3.
