LOS ANGELES, August 28, 2014 - There are only five days remaining in the record breaking 12-day marathon of all 552 episodes of The Simpsons and, based on its performance so far, many Americans will be spending their Labor Day holiday glued to FXX.

Following the conclusion of the 12-day marathon on Monday night, The Simpsons moves to its regular weekly schedule beginning on Tuesday, September 2, airing Mondays from 6PM-Midnight E/P; Tuesdays from 8PM-Midnight E/P; Thursdays from 8PM-Midnight E/P; Fridays from 6PM-Midnight E/P; and Sundays from 4-8PM E/P. FXX will air movies and original series on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Special holiday-themed Simpsons marathons will air throughout the year.

Key highlights of The Simpsons marathon this weekend include The Simpsons Movie on Friday, August 29 from 6-8PM E/P and also:

Saturday, August 30

· "Apocalypse Cow" guest starring Zooey Deschanel at 4AM E/P

· "Stealing First Base" guest starring Angela Bassett and Sarah Silverman at 11:30PM E/P

Sunday, August 31

· "The Flight Before Christmas" guest starring Katy Perry at 7:30AM E/P

· "Donnie Fatso" guest starring Jon Hamm at 8AM E/P

Monday, September 1

· "Lisa Goes Gaga" guest starring Lady Gaga at 1:30AM E/P

· "The Fabulous Faker Boy" guest starring Justin Bieber at 11:30AM E/P

Through its first six days, The Simpsons marathon grew in viewership every day and FXX has ranked as a Top 5 Basic Cable Network on each night. Tuesday night's prime portion (8/26, 8-11P) of The Simpsons marathon drove the network to a #1 rank among all basic cable nets in Adults 18-49 (1.07 million) and Adults 18-34 (764,000). It ranked #1 outright ? inclusive of broadcast and cable ? in Men 18-34 (477,000) on Tuesday night.
