HOSPITALITY (NBC, New!) - Chris Moynihan ("Man Up!") is developing a new multi-camera comedy at the Peacock which would air live every week, including live commercials during the break. Universal Television is behind the project, which would be "set in a midtown Manhattan hotel and focuses on the hospitality staff." Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner are also on board to executive produce via their Hazy Mills Productions banner. (Deadline.com)
TWO BLACK CADILLACS (FOX, New!) - Carrie Underwood's hit song is being developed as a six-hour limited event series at the network, which "explores a murderous love triangle in the modern South. Or, as the producers put it, Hell hath no fury like two women scorned." Ildy Modrovich ("Necessary Roughness") is penning the adaptation for the Warner Bros. Television-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Underwood, Bruckheimer and Modrovich then will all serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler are developing a small screen take on DC Comics hero "Supergirl" for Warner Bros. Television (Deadline.com); Matt Nable has been cast as famed DC Comics villain Ra's al Ghul in "Arrow" (@amellywood); Serinda Swan is bound for four episodes of "Chicago Fire" as "a graphic designer and potential new love interest to Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney)" (Deadline.com); Frances O'Connor to play Belle's mother on "Once Upon a Time" (EW.com); and Grammy winner Juanes will appear on "Jane the Virgin" as "a music producer and smooth-talking ladies' man who considers producing a demo record for Jane's pop-music obsessed mother Xiomara (Andrea Navedo)" (EW.com).
