TV's #1-Rated Syndicated Daytime Talk Show Kicks Off Season Premiere Going Deep Inside One of The Most Notorious Unsolved Mysteries of The Decade

(Hollywood, CA - September 4, 2014) - DR. PHIL, television's #1-rated syndicated daytime talk show, returns for its 13th hit season on Tuesday, September 9 (check local listings) with all-new episodes and ripped-from-the-headlines exclusives, kicking off the season with the latest in the shocking story of 35-year-old Robyn Gardner's mysterious disappearance in Aruba, a case which continues to make international headlines and still remains unsolved to this day.

When Robyn Gardner inexplicably disappeared in Aruba in August 2011, the story was front-page news. Her travel companion, Gary Giordano, became the main suspect. After being detained in an Aruban prison for four months, Giordano was released and never charged with any criminal wrongdoing. In a DR. PHIL exclusive, Gary faces Dr. Phil to answer the hard questions surrounding the mystery, his thoughts on the accusations levied against him, and for the first time, comes face to face with Robyn's sister, Danielle, who accuses him of killing Robyn for money - a charge he adamantly denies.

Dr. Phil also questions Gary's about his subsequent arrest on a charge of indecent exposure and a variety of allegations levied against him by former girlfriends.

PHIL exclusive, Barajas, who did not testify at trial, and his wife Cindy, speak for the first time only to Dr. Phil about the events of that fateful night, the heartbreaking loss of their two sons, and the effect the ensuing trial had on their marriage and family.

Also, on Thursday, September 11, Dr. Phil talks exclusively with Stephanie Hayden Ford, the daughter of Will Hayden, star of the defunct reality series "Sons of Guns," as she speaks out for the first time about the rape allegations against her father. Plus, even more of Dr. Phil's exclusive interview with David and Cindy Barajas.

Then, on Friday, September 12, Dr. Phil brings together the California couple and the fired nanny who wouldn't leave their home, as they face-off for the first time since their explosive legal battle played out in the national media, a DR. PHIL exclusive.
