CMT KICKS OFF "COUNTDOWN TO SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN" WITH EXCLUSIVE TIM MCGRAW CONTENT ALL WEEK LONG STARTING TODAY

Celebration Continues with TIM MCGRAW TAKEOVER WEEKEND on September 20

NASHVILLE - Sept. 9, 2014 - The countdown is on to the launch of Tim McGraw's new "Sundown Heaven Town" album, with exclusive content launching daily at sundown (7 p.m. ET) across TimMcGraw.CMT.com and the CMT Artists app. Each day for one week, CMT will post exclusive new interviews from McGraw with the inside scoop on how his new album came together, from working with wife Faith Hill to Kid Rock. McGraw's "Sundown Heaven Town" (Big Machine Records) is available for purchase starting Tuesday, September 16.

The celebration continues with a special TIM MCGRAW TAKEOVER WEEKEND starting Saturday, September 20, as McGraw makes a special appearance on CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN airing at 11:00 am. - 2:00 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can then catch two back-to-back movies starring McGraw on Saturday, September 20, beginning with "Flicka" at 3:00 p.m. ET/PT, and "Country Strong" immediately following at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. "Flicka" will re-air on Sunday, September 21 at 8:00 a.m. ET/PT. The weekend also includes double shots of McGraw videos twice an hour on CMT during video hours and on CMT Pure.
