CNBC'S "THE FILTHY RICH GUIDE" SERIES PREMIERE ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8 at 10PM ET/PT

The series premiere of CNBC's "THE FILTHY RICH GUIDE" will air on Wednesday, October 8 at 10PM ET/PT. The season consists of 5 thirty-minute episodes that will roll out over 4 weeks.

All programming subject to change.

"THE FILTHY RICH GUIDE" is a fun, fast-paced guide that catalogues the ways in which the .01 percent spend their money. The series is an insider look at a world where party never ends, the cash flow doesn't stop, and the hi-tech toys are the biggest and most expensive in the world. From secret worlds, to outrageous mansions, to private islands, it's the Filthy Rich Guide to the best that (a ridiculous amount of) money can buy.

Wednesday, 10/8/14 at 10PM: The Filthy Rich Guide #101 (SP) "The Filthy Rich Guide to Buying Fun"

Spending money may seem easy, but there is an art to spending obscene sums without anything to show for it, except for a good time. On this week's episode of The Filthy Rich Guide, we showcase how some of the world's richest people spend ridiculous amounts of money "Buying Fun." Enjoy drinking? Entrepreneur Charles Shaker managed to spend $500,000 on one bar tab in Monte Carlo. Bars not your thing, but you still like to party? Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal does. He spent $78 million dollars on his daughter's over the top Parisian wedding, including $1.5 million on wine alone. For these billionaires, "work hard, play hard" is more than a motto.

Wednesday, 10/8/14 at 10:30PM: The Filthy Rich Guide #102 (P) "The Filthy Rich Guide to Billion Dollar Listings"

They say, "Home is where the heart is," but when you're a billionaire, home is wherever...and whatever you want it to be. This week, The Filthy Rich Guide takes you on a tour of the biggest, most luxurious homes on land and sea, as we explore "Billion Dollar Listings." Ever feel like you needed more bathrooms? Junk Bond King Ira Rennert owns a 66,000 square foot Hampton's home with 29 bedrooms and 39 bathrooms. Prefer something a little larger? Indian billionaire, Mukesh Ambani owns the world's largest home. It is 27 stories high, 400,000 square feet and is valued at $1 billion. Reportedly, it takes a staff of 600 just to maintain the home. These are the homes we all dream about, but only the .1% OF the .1 % could afford.

Wednesday, 10/15/14 at 10PM: The Filthy Rich Guide #103 (P) "The Filthy Rich Guide to Never Growing Up"

Making billions of dollars is no easy task. Even as children, many billionaires sacrificed the pleasures of youth in the pursuit of money. So, what happens when they reach their goal of having endless money? For billionaires that are young at heart, they pursue the dream of "Never Growing Up." On this week's episode of The Filthy Rich Guide, we explore how the super-rich try to recapture their youth. For some billionaires, it means living out childhood fantasies. Bill Koch loved the Wild West so much that he spent $3.1 million to buy his very own western style ghost town. For others, it's about searching for ways to live forever. Casino owner, Don Laughlin is paying to be cryogenically frozen, so that he can be brought back to life in the future. No matter how they choose to fulfill their youthful dreams, one thing is for certain, when you are filthy rich, growing older doesn't mean you have to grow up.

Wednesday, 10/22/14 at 10PM: The Filthy Rich Guide #104 (P) "The Filthy Rich Guide to Billionaire Bad Boys"

Ever wish you could buy anything you want? Well, these billionaires can. This week, The Filthy Rich Guide takes a look into the spending habits of "Billionaire Bad Boys." These big spenders use their cash to live it up in the most outrageous ways possible... and they're not limited by price or good taste. Ever fancy buying an entire Hawaiian island? Oracle CEO Larry Ellison bought one for nearly half a billion dollars. Looking for something a little sexier than an island? Prince Jefri of Brunai let loose his inner exhibitionist when he spent $800,000 on life-sized statues of himself and his then fiancé in various sexual positions. When you've got billions, you can have anything you want and these billionaire bad boys break the bank to live it up

Wednesday, 10/29/14 at 10PM: The Filthy Rich Guide #105 (P) "The Filthy Rich Guide to Supercars and Private Jets"

When you've got billions of dollars, you can go anywhere you want. So, why not do it in style? This week on The Filthy Rich Guide, we check out the "Supercars and Private Jets" of the extremely wealthy. From a one of a kind, custom motorcycle that runs on top shelf tequila... to a private jet that has a waiting list so exclusive that even Oprah has to patiently wait for her chance to own one. The filthy rich have to get around, just like everyone else, but they do it in the most unbelievable and luxurious ways possible.
