LIFETIME(R) UNLOCKS THE SECRETS OF WOMEN WHO LOVE MEN BEHIND BARS IN NEW DOCUSERIES

Prison Wives Club

SET FOR SERIES PREMIERE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 10p ET/PT

The new Lifetime docuseries Prison Wives Club (#PrisonWivesClub) follows four women living with their decisions to fall in love with and remain married to convicted felons. While facing judgment from their friends and families, each episode explores how these women struggle to find normalcy despite their unconventional choices when it comes to the men in their lives. Restricted to limited contact with their spouses who are serving sentences ranging from 10 years to life, the ladies band together for support; but this group comes with its own sentence as they don't always agree on how to behave as a wife on the "outside." The new hour-long series premieres Tuesday, October 28, at 10p ET/PT.

Growing up, Kate developed a penchant for bad boys, and after her husband's incarceration she was abandoned by some of her closest friends.

Jhemini tries to be the perfect prison wife, though she has yet to reveal her husband's situation to her conservative family and struggles with the double life she leads.

Ana met her husband through a website and secretly wed him, believing he was in prison for life. With parole a suddenly new possibility, Ana must finally tell her family the truth and face the consequences of her decision.

LaQuisha, who has not yet consummated her marriage to her convict husband, is raising a young daughter as a single parent.

Prison Wives Club is produced by CORE Media Group. Jennifer O'Connell (The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Ever After) and Paulina Williams (Eric & Jessie: Game On!, Love in the City) serve as executive producers, and Jenny Ramirez, Tim Sullivan, Glenn Stickley and Rajan Shandil serve as co-executive producers. Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan serve as executive producers for Lifetime. Eight episodes have been ordered for this season.
