"SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW" Returns to TLC October 10, 2014
[Los Angeles, CA] - Each week on TLC's hit wedding series SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW, hosts Kelly Nishimoto & Sam Saboura help brides make a life "altering" decision for their wedding day - wear a re-imagined version of their mother's wedding gown, or break from tradition with a brand-new dress of their dreams. But, the tables are turned in the season premiere - October 10th beginning at 10/9c - when Kelly reveals to Sam that she's the bride of the week and needs help to get ready for her big day.
In the first of back-to-back season premiere episodes, Kelly puts aside being a designer and co-host to be a bride in need of professional guidance. Joining Sam to help is designer and star of TLC's BRIDE BY DESIGN Heidi Elnora, who steps in to transform Kelly's "something borrowed" dress into a newly imagined piece of bridal couture, while Sam takes Kelly dress shopping for the first time.
The SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW season continues each Friday with episodes that will touch the heart and inspire brides all over. In addition to Kelly, the contributors this season come from all walks of life including an Army bride who met her husband-to-be while serving in Afghanistan, a Southern belle who clashes with her bling obsessed mother, a body builder whose muscles rip through her dress, and two sisters who are both vying for their mother's cherished dress.
