OVATION'S HIT ORIGINAL SERIES "SONG BY SONG" CONTINUES WITH THE PREMIERE OF "SONG BY SONG: BLONDIE" TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Exclusive Interviews with Blondie's Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke Plus Iggy Pop, Joan Jett, Los Rakas, Betty Who, Miss Guy and Others

SANTA MONICA, CA - October 14, 2014 - Ovation, America's only arts network, continues its new season of the hit original series Song By Song with the premiere of Song by Song: Blondie on Tuesday, November 11th at 10PM ET. The documentary music series will focus on the iconic band, currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary.

Throughout the last four decades, Blondie has become and still remains a true global treasure; one whose influence both shaped and continues to inform the worlds of music, fashion and art. Their chart-topping success, fearless spirit and rare longevity led to an induction into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and more than 40 million albums sold worldwide to date.

In the series, four of Blondie's biggest chart-topping hits will be highlighted, and episodes will include in-depth and behind-the-scenes insights from Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke of Blondie, as well as interviews with fellow music icons Iggy Pop and Joan Jett and NYC downtown legend Miss Guy. Viewers will also hear from hot new music acts like Betty Who and Los Rakas who have been influenced by Blondie's trend-setting style and cutting-edge sound.

Here is the lineup for each half-hour episode of Song by Song: Blondie:

"One Way Or Another" - Premiering November 11th at 10PM ET. The anthem ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time."

"Heart of Glass" - Premiering November 18th at 10PM ET. Blondie's hit single from the 1978 album "Parallel Lines," which sold over 20 million copies.

"Call Me" - Premiering Tuesday, November 25th at 10PM ET. The Grammy(R)-nominated song featured in the film, "American Gigolo."

"Rapture" - Premiering Tuesday, December 2nd at 10PM ET. The first song to feature rapping that went all the way to #1.

The new season of Song by Song kicks off October 14th with Song by Song: Sheryl Crow, followed by Song by Song: Blondie and Song by Song: Lindsey Stirling, premiering December 9th. Ovation debuted its Song by Song franchise in 2012 with the premiere of Song by Song: Johnny Cash, which focused on the stories behind six of the country music legend's classic hit songs. It was a critical and ratings success for the network, inspiring a second six episode season, Song by Song: Dolly Parton, which premiered in early 2013. Song by Song is produced for Ovation by Emmy(R) nominated TH Entertainment.
