"K.MICHELLE: MY LIFE" FEATURING "LOVE & HIP HOP" STAR K.MICHELLE PREMIERES MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3 AT 9:00 PM ET/PT ON VH1

NEW YORK, NY - October 15, 2014 -Best-selling recording artist and "Love & Hip Hop" star K.Michelle is striking out on her own in the Big Apple in the new VH1 series "K.Michelle: My Life," premiering Monday, November 3 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. Single, but not alone, K.Michelle embarks on her NYC journey with a solid group of friends to keep her on track. Friends Paris, Jonathan, Nema and Tracie are along for the crazy ride that is K.Michelle's life. Although they may have different ways of showing it, they all have her best interests at heart and want to see her succeed. After a hit #1 album and tour, "Rebellious Soul," K.Michelle has moved into a new phase of her life and nothing's going to stop her now!

K. Michelle seems to have everything she has ever wanted; a great career, celebrity status and financial stability. But with great accomplishments come greater challenges. Finding the balance between her music career and family life continue to make it difficult for her to spend time with her 10-year old son, Chase, who lives in Memphis with his grandparents. Despite it all, K. Michelle has a team of friends in place that are committed to helping her make sense of it all. Paris, having met K. Michelle on Twitter a few years ago, is fiercely loyal and outspoken sometimes to her own detriment; make-up artist, confidant and shopping partner Jonathan constantly encourages K. Michelle to stay clear of the drama, open up to giving second chances and follow her heart. Nema is her glamorous roommate who has New York City nightlife in the palm of her hand. Rounding out the group is Tracie, K. Michelle's childhood friend and part-time dog-sitter, who comes to attempt reconciliation with K. Michelle regarding issues that have arisen between them in recent months.

Always armed with her razor sharp wit and sense of humor, K. Michelle is ever evolving and ready to make serious changes in her life. K. Michelle's hard work and sacrifices have brought her this far, but will she be able to hold it all together? Find out in the series premiere of "K. Michelle: My Life" Monday, November 3 at 9:00 PM ET/ PT on VH1.
