The new multi-camera incarnation comes seven years after the Peacock's previous attempt, which co-starred a pre-"Community" Joel McHale and original cast member Richard Ayoade. Warner Bros. (Deadline.com)

RAISING ADULTS (ABC, New!) - Husband-and-wife duo Mike and Julie Scully ("The Simpsons") have sold a multi-camera comedy to the Alphabet based on the their "own experiences guiding their five adult kids toward independence, a job with no current end in sight." 20th Century Fox Television is producing. (Deadline.com)

SHADOWLAND (NBC, New!) - Peter Straub's 1980 dark fantasy novel - about "two young boys, Tom Flanagan and Del Nightingale, who spend a summer with Del's uncle Coleman, one of the foremost magicians in the world, who may actually be a sorcerer" - is being developed as an event series at the Peacock. David S. Goyer ("Constantine") is spearheading the adaptation alongside Jack Thorne (The Sandman) for Universal Television. Benjamin Straub will also serve as co-producer. (Deadline.com)

Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are also on board to executive produce via their Warner Bros. Television-based Le Train Train banner with the company's Jeff Grosvenor co-executive producing. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED DAVID ISRAEL PROJECT (NBC, New!) - David Israel ("About a Boy") is developing a new comedy at the Peacock about "a guy whose world is rocked when he finds out his parents have been secretly seeing his ex-girlfriend for three years since he broke up with her, and the highly unlikely friendship he forms with his ex's fiancée." Said effort is inspired by the true story of actor Armie Hammer, his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, and film producer Gordon Gray. All will executive produce via Hammer's Mayhem Pictures banner for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)

He then gets a long overdue promotion to lead a high profile, racially charged murder investigation precisely because he's black." They'll write and direct the hour, respectively, for CBS Television Studios with David Brownfield and Circle of Confusion's Ken Freimann and David Alpert likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
