COMEDY CENTRAL'S(R) "@MIDNIGHT" SETS PANELISTS FOR NEW YORK COMEDY FESTIVAL SHOWS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3-THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6

Panelists Include Michael Ian Black, Hannibal Buress, Bridget Everett, Judah Friedlander, Jim Gaffigan, Nikki Glaser, Kyle Kinane, Hari Kondabolu, Artie Lange, Kurt Metzger and Jim Norton

NEW YORK, October 27, 2014 - Comedy Central's late night hit "@midnight," produced by Funny Or Die, is heading to the Big Apple for a week's worth of shows kicking off on November 3 for the New York Comedy Festival and a stellar group of comedians are ready to face off to see who will win the internet.

On Monday, November 3, the "@midnight" panelists include Nikki Glaser, Hannibal Buress and Judah Friedlander; Tuesday, November 4 features Jim Gaffigan, Michael Ian Black and Kyle Kinane; Wednesday, November 5 features Bridget Everett, Hari Kondabolu and Jeff Ross; and Thursday, November 6 includes Jim Norton, Artie Lange and Kurt Metzger. The week also includes special appearances by "Broad City's" Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and Stephen Colbert.

Hosted by Chris Hardwick (@nerdist), the special NYCF week of episodes will include visual and textual nods to New York and feature a coterie of comedians playing fan favorites such as #HashtagWars, Rapid Refresh and Sweet Emoji. The "@midnight" tapings will be filmed at ABC Television Center on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

"@midnight" leads viewers down the ultimate internet wormhole with a rotating lineup of today's top comedians battling nightly to determine who has the funniest take on the day's social media and pop culture. Using social media as the catalyst and a fake game show as the setting, "@midnight" challenges comedians to win the Internet by slashing the craziest, most absurd news and posts that social media has to offer: from the latest celebrity Instagram shots to the creepiest Craigslist posting to Buzzspeed lists and infamous #HashtagWars.

"@midnight" airs Monday-Thursday after "The Colbert Report" and is executive produced by Hardwick, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant; Mike Farah and Joe Farrell for Funny Or Die; Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis of Serious Business; showrunner Jack Martin; and Alex Murray of Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Gary Mann and Tara Schuster are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Guest panelists that appeared on the show include Judd Apatow, Doug Benson, Jason Biggs, Jack Black, Neal Brennan, Hannibal Buress, LeVar Burton, Ice Cube, Andy Daly, Will Ferrell, Kyle Gass, Ilana Glazer, Seth Green, Jonah Hill, Abbi Jacobson, Kyle Kinane, David Koechner, Natasha Leggero, Thomas Lennon, Joe Lo Truglio, Marc Maron, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Jonah Ray, Rob Riggle, Kristen Schaal, David Spade, Amber Tamblyn, Channing Tatum, Aisha Tyler, David Wain, Wil Wheaton, and Weird Al Yankovic.

The 2014 New York Comedy Festival is presented in association with Comedy Central and takes place from November 5-9. Now in its eleventh year, the festival is produced by Carolines on Broadway. For the full schedule of 2014 NYCF shows and info, please visit www.nycomedyfestival.com.

The festival has featured the country's top comedians, including Louis C.K., Bill Maher, Ricky Gervais, Larry David, John Mulaney, Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari, and Wanda Sykes, to name a few. In 2007, the festival launched the "Stand Up for Heroes" event to benefit The Bob Woodruff Foundation, which has featured performances by Bill Cosby, Robin Williams, Jon Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld, Lewis Black, Ricky Gervais, Conan O'Brien, Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer, among others. To date, the "Stand Up for Heroes" events have raised over $20 million.
