NFL SUPER BOWL CHAMPS MICHAEL IRVIN, DONALD DRIVER & WILLIE MCGINEST KICK OFF MUST-SEE EPISODE OF "THE BIGGEST LOSER: GLORY DAYS" NOVEMBER 6

Former NFL Stars Coach the Players Through an Intense Gym Workout and Join Them in a Fun Football Challenge

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 3, 2014 - It's a special week for the contestants when three NFL Super Bowl champs - Donald Driver and NFL Network analysts Michael Irvin and Willie McGinest -- put them through a vigorous NFL-style workout and fun football challenge on "The Biggest Loser: Glory Days," airing Thursday, November 6 (8-9 p.m. ET) on NBC.

It's the halfway point in the competition, and the remaining 10 contestants are excited to learn that three NFL legends will be joining them this week. The visit is even more special for the two former NFL players who are contestants this season, Scott Mitchell and Super Bowl champ Damien Woody, who was a teammate of McGinest's when they played together for the New England Patriots.

First, they'll be part of a football challenge in which a trainer and contestant from each team must catch footballs from the NFL guest stars - while tied together. And the stakes are high, because the winning team gets the coveted prize of video chats with loved ones. After the challenge, the victorious players have very emotional reunions with family members via video chat, and one contestant gets a very special gift.

Later, the NFL guest stars join the trainers in the gym and have fun putting their own spin on coaching the contestants. At Comeback Canyon, the weigh-in sends another contestant home for good while a red line at the ranch weigh-in puts all the players on edge. One contestant reaches a milestone, but another is eliminated before getting the surprise of their life when they arrive at Comeback Canyon and learn the game isn't over for them yet.

Hall of Fame wide receiver Irvin is an analyst on NFL Network's Emmy-nominated Sunday morning pregame show "NFL Game Day Morning." Additionally, Irvin serves as an analyst for the pregame, halftime and postgame shows on NFL Network's "Thursday Night Football." He is an Emmy Award winner for the "Sunday NFL Countdown" in 2006 prior to working at the NFL Network. Irvin spent his entire 10-year NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he won three Super Bowl rings in 1993, 1994 and 1996.

Driver spent his 14-season NFL career playing for the Green Bay Packers and is the team's all-time leading receiver. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and won a Super Bowl ring in 2010 when the Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also a New York Times bestselling author and a "Dancing with the Stars" champion.

Former New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns outside linebacker McGinest is an NFL Network analyst on programs such as "NFL Total Access." He spent 15 seasons in the NFL before retiring following the 2008 season, and is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who holds the record for most career post season sacks (16). He assisted the Patriots to three Super Bowl titles.

"The Biggest Loser" is a production of Shine America and 25/7 Productions. Ben Silverman, Dave Broome, Eden Gaha, Alex Katz, Joel Relampagos, Paul Franklin, JD Roth and Todd A. Nelson are the executive producers.
