REAL LIFE "GONE GIRLS" FEATURED IN ID'S NEW SERIES "LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE" VIEWERS DECIPHER FACT FROM FICTION

-- New series premieres Wednesday, November 12 at 10/9c on Investigation Discovery -

(Silver Spring, Md.) - There may be two sides to every story but when it comes to murder, whose story will you believe? Inspired by the best-selling blockbuster novel, Gone Girl, Investigation Discovery's (ID) new series, LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE brings viewers real life crime stories in which the truth is disputed. From suicides that could be staged, to murder disguised as self-defense, LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE examines the fine line between evil and innocent. Filmed in a classic he said-she said style, episodes follow both versions as events in the relationship unfold simultaneously, leaving viewers to ultimately decide the truth. The six-part series LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE is produced by Raw TV Limited and premieres Wednesday, November 12 at 10/9c on ID.

"These are stories that will leave viewers hungry for more as they devour facts and fiction in their attempt to find who to believe," said Henry Schleiff, Group President of Investigation Discovery, Destination American, American Heroes Channel, Discovery Family Channel and Discovery Fit & Health. "With one victim and two stories, viewers will be on their edge of their seats trying to discover the truth."

Each one-hour episode of LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE follows one highly disputable real crime from dueling perspectives - those who believe the suspect is guilty, and those who proclaim the suspect's innocence - and features expert commentary from local authorities and true-crime experts, as well as first-person accounts from friends and families of the victims and suspects.

The line-up of LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE premieres is as follows:

SHATTERED Premieres Wednesday, November 12 at 10/9c

To outsiders, laid back "stay at home" dad, Tom Foley and his wife Darlene, a vivacious teacher, exude wedded bliss. But when one is fatally shot, officers must determine if it is the tragic result of a break-in gone awry or something far more sinister.

THE HITMAN AND HER Premieres Wednesday, November 19 at 10/9c

When Bonny Lee Bakley met movie star Robert Blake, it sparked a relationship that would make headlines for years to come. But within months, the couple was fighting over custody of their newborn child... is this dispute the motive for murder?

BAD COMPANY Premieres Wednesday, November 26 at 10/9c

Eddie Baugus and Shannon Tyler should have formed a perfect union; they each had children from previous marriages and a passion for the outdoors. But these two shared another trait: hot-headedness. When they play with fire, one of them is bound to get burned.

THE END OF THE AFFAIR Premieres Wednesday, December 3 at 10/9c

Stephen Nodine and Angel Downs are a glamorous socialite pair. They create the perfect picture except for the fact that Angel isn't Stephen's wife - she's his mistress. It's an imperfection that turns their love from a glitzy romance into tragedy.

SIDE EFFECTS Premieres Wednesday, December 10 at 10/9c

When a body is discovered at the home of a white collar worker, a very private problem becomes a public trial. Now the police have to unravel the disaster that was the marriage of Kent and Laurie Alexander, and determine whether it's suicide or murder.

GIRL GONE Premieres Wednesday, December 17 at 10/9c
