Inspiring Young Artist to Sing Her Breakout Single 'Ghost,' Co-Written with Ryan Tedder

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- Nov. 14, 2014 - Eighteen-year-old U.K. singing sensation Ella Henderson will perform her breakout single "Ghost" on the Tuesday, Nov. 18 live telecast of NBC's Emmy Award-winning competition series "The Voice."

Henderson, whom audiences first recognized in 2012 on the U.K.'s "The X Factor," co-wrote "Ghost" with One Republic's Ryan Tedder. The single has gone platinum in the U.K. and Australia and reached the top 20 on the iTunes charts in the U.S.

Her debut album "Chapter One" went straight to #1 on the U.K. album chart and will be released via SYCO/Columbia Records in the U.S. in early 2015. She has recently appeared on "Today," "Dancing with the Stars," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Also on the Nov. 18 telecast, two artists will be eliminated as the show grows closer to naming one performer as "The Voice."

Through the season's opening seven weeks, "The Voice" ranks as television's #1 reality series in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, with its Monday and Tuesday editions combining to average a 4.3 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49 and 14.0 million viewers overall, according to "most current" figures from Nielsen Media Research. The Monday edition is the #6 entertainment series on the Big 4 networks so far this season with a 4.5 average in 18-49, which combines with "The Blacklist" to make NBC's Monday the season's top-rated entertainment lineup on those networks.

"The Voice" is a presentation of United Artists Media Group (an MGM company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Marc Jansen and Lee Metzger.
