New York, November 18, 2014 - Logo TV today announced that international pop superstar Jessie J is slated to perform her smash hit "Burning Up" on Logo TV's 2014 "New Now Next" Awards premiering on Logo TV on Sunday, December 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and MTV on December 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The event, from Kimpton's Surfcomber Miami, South Beach, kicks off Art Basel and serves as the definitive farewell party for 2014 and predictor to who and what will dominate pop culture in the year to come, with Joe Jonas serving as the celebrity DJ and special appearances from Jennifer Hudson, "Orange is the New Black" stars Laverne Cox, Danielle Brooks, Lorraine Toussaint & Lea DeLaria, Mary Lambert, Fifth Harmony, Perez Hilton and Bianca Del Rio.

Jessie J's debut album, Who You Are [LAVA], marked the debut of a global icon when it reached #1 and was certified multi-platinum in over 15 countries. She has sold over 3 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide to date. The GRAMMY(R) Award-nominated artist was also the 2012 London Olympic Games Ambassador. Her smash "Price Tag" reached #1 in 18 major territories. Who You Are also yielded an astonishing six Top 10 singles including the hit "Domino". Among other accolades, Jessie J was the recipient of the 2011 Critics Choice BRIT Award and the BBC's Sound of 2011 honor. This year's nominations span categories across television, film, music, theater, social media, literature, fashion and art. Nominees for the 2014 "New Now Next Awards" were selected by the New Now Next Academy, a mix of industry experts from television, film, music, literature, art and new media, as well as a survey of the Logo TV audience. In the coming weeks, Logo TV will announce performers, presenters and special guests as well as reveal the nominations in the academy winner selected categories: "Best New Fashion Designer," "Best New Art Exhibition," "Best New Fiction (Literature)" and "Best New Nonfiction (Literature)". Additionally, nominees for two socially voted categories, "Best New Social Influencer (Male)" and "Best New Social Influencer (Female)" will be announced soon.
