FOX Caps "Red Band Society" at 13 Episodes

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has opted not to order additional episodes of its freshman drama "Red Band Society."
The news, as first reported by Deadline.com, caps the show's run at 13 episodes.
The series however will remain under consideration for a second season. Next Wednesday marks the show's fall finale while a return date for the three remaining episodes has yet to be announced.
"Red Band's" most recent episode posted 2.951 million viewers and a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49, the latter matching its series low.
