FIVE PLUS-SIZED LADIES LOOK FOR LOVE ON LIFETIME(R)'S DATING DOCUSOAP "BIG WOMEN: BIG LOVE" PREMIERING NEW YEAR'S DAY

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 3, 2014) Watch out, guys, these women are on the prowl and coming your way. Lifetime's all-new docusoap Big Women: Big Love (#BigWomenBigLove) will premiere on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1, at 10pm ET/PT. Dating can be one of the most difficult parts of a woman's life, but being extra curvy can make it that much more complicated. Big Women: Big Love examines the lives of five plus-sized women as they navigate the tricky waters of the turbulent and sometimes harsh dating scene, struggling through bad dates and worse judgments. Shining a light on a group of women who are rarely the focus of TV cameras, the show provides a unique point of view on their experiences in love and life. Beginning January 7, Big Women: Big Love will move to its regular day and time, Wednesday at 10pm ET/PT.

The ladies featured on Big Women: Big Love are:

Jenn, 26 (Los Angeles, CA) - Originally from the Midwest, Jenn has always lived a sheltered life under the watchful eyes of her parents. Now on her own in Los Angeles, she is on the prowl to find a cuddly guy with a beard and loving every minute of it!

Jessica, 29 (Atlanta, GA) - Jessica, a makeup artist, recently lost 100 pounds but still lives at home with her overbearing mother. Her perfect man is educated, spiritual and successful, respects women and knows how to wine, dine and surprise her.

Kristi, 34 (Fort Worth, TX) - A single mom raising a daughter, Kristi is using the Internet as her dating guru, but she hasn't yet found the southern gentleman of her dreams.

Mar, 32 (Clifton, NJ) - Mar has dreams of finding true love and becoming the next big singing sensation. With a penchant for skinny bad boys, she refuses to date a guy who is also plus-sized, despite her own curvy physique.

Sabrina, 31 (Brooklyn, NY) - Everything about Sabrina is big... big hair, big fashion and an even bigger personality. The self-described dork is never one to turn down an invitation and always makes the best of every situation, particularly while searching for a man who shares her love of video games.

Big Women: Big Love is produced by 495 Productions, with founder and president SallyAnn Salsano (The Real, Jersey Shore) serving as executive producer along with the company's Joel Zimmer (Tattoo Nightmares). Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Kimberly Chessler are executive producers for Lifetime. Lifetime has ordered eight one-hour episodes of the series.
