HIT THE ROAD WITH A&E NETWORK'S NEWEST ORIGINAL SERIES 'WILD TRANSPORT' FOLLOWING AN ANIMAL RESCUE AND RELOCATION TEAM SPECIALIZING IN THE DANGEROUS AND DEADLY

PREMIERING TUESDAY, JANUARY 6 AT 10PM ET/PT

New York, NY - December 10, 2014 - A&E Network's newest original unscripted series "Wild Transport" follows the passionate team at the premier animal rescue, removal and relocation company that specializes in the dangerous and deadly. The "Wild Transport" team is led by dynamic duo, Rick and Andrew, who are extreme opposites but share a childlike enthusiasm for creatures big and small, taking advantage of any opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals they transport. From lions and tigers to alligators and cobras, each transport proves to be an adventure with its own set of challenges as they travel across the country with unique and risky cargo in tow. "Wild Transport" premieres January 6 at 10:00pm ET/PT on A&E.

Joining Rick and Andrew on the "Wild Transport" team are Justin, the go-to guy for venomous creatures, and Ashley who is learning the ropes in the field after transitioning out of the office. Each member of the crew uses their individual strengths to take on the challenges and risks of getting live cargo loaded and transported to its destination safely. Rick has unwavering excitement and eagerness to communicate with animals, often trying to talk to them, and Andrew never loses his calm demeanor, even in the most dangerous situations.

Throughout the season the "Wild Transport" crew tackles a variety of precious cargo including a camel that proves to be smarter than expected, stubborn zedonks that like to bite like a zebra and kick like a donkey, adult tigers and their cubs, who were too cute to leave behind, and a sneaky venomous snake that goes missing. At "Wild Transport" there's never a dull moment when every trip is a high risk, high stakes adventure.

"Wild Transport" is produced for A&E Network by Jupiter Entertainment and Wild Gate Entertainment. Executive producers for Jupiter Entertainment are Stephen Land, Matt Sprouse and Joe DeVito. Executive producers for Wild Gate Entertainment are Tom Breslin, Jeff Friedman and Keith Alan. Executive producers for A&E Network are Brad Abramson and Fred Grinstein.
