HULU ANNOUNCES THE RENEWAL OF "THE HOTWIVES" FRANCHISE FROM PARAMOUNT DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT

Sin City bound second season THE HOTWIVES OF LAS VEGAS to debut in 2015

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 7, 2015) - Hulu announced today the renewal of hit original series The Hotwives of Orlando from Paramount Digital Entertainment. The second season of the series will return in 2015 as The Hotwives of Las Vegas and will move locations from scenic Orlando to Las Vegas.

Writers from NBC's hit Marry Me, Danielle Schneider and Dannah Phirman are set to return as creators and producers to the series, along with Emmy(R) Award-winning Executive Producers Jonathan Stern and Paul Scheer. The Hotwives of Las Vegas, will be distributed and produced by Paramount Digital Entertainment, the studio behind the Emmy(R) nominated Burning Love.

"Las Vegas was an obvious choice for the second season of the Hotwives franchise because it's a city built on broken dreams, fake boobs and real magic. Season two will focus on a new crop of wannabe socialites with some new faces as well as old faces that just look new," Paul Scheer stated.

"In season one, we wanted to take a cold, hard look at the up-till-now entirely secret world of rich friends that hate each other. But we realized we'd only barely scratched the surface. We see this second season as a second marriage which will be better than the first and with more sex," said Jon Stern

In its Summer 2014 debut, The Hotwives of Orlando garnered critical acclaim on Hulu. The first installment of the Hotwives franchise followed an all-star cast of comedians including Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Kristen Schaal, Tymberlee Hill, Danielle Schneider and Andrea Savage as they fought over pretty much everything except for their love of shoes, plastic surgery, and the pursuit of spending all of their husbands' money in Central Florida's sexiest city, Orlando.

"Along with the dedicated creators and fans of 'Hotwives,' we are just as thrilled this guilty pleasure will be back for another season on Hulu," said Amy Powell, President of Paramount Digital Entertainment. "It's bold, it's hilarious and we can't wait to see what dysfunctional and wildly entertaining story lines will unfold in Las Vegas."

"The Hotwives of Orlando was a huge success on Hulu and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the incredibly talented writers and executive producers of the 'Hotwives' franchise. We are so excited to be able to bring our viewers more of the antics, drama and laugh out loud moments that made season one such a hit," said Craig Erwich, Senior Vice President, Head of Content at Hulu.
