MINORITY REPORT (FOX/20th; W: Max Borenstein; D: TBA) - The network's small screen take on the 2002 feature has officially been ordered to pilot with Kevin Falls signing on as showrunner. Said incarnation is "set 10 years after the end of Precrime in DC. One of the three Precogs struggles to lead a 'normal' human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift." Amblin Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
WARRIOR (NBC, New!) - David DiGilio ("Traveler") has scored a pilot order from the Peacock for a new drama. Universal Television is behind the project with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald also serving as executive producers. Said logline released by the network is as follows: "In a grounded, contemporary multicultural and sometimes magical milieu, a damaged heroine works undercover with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master to bring down an international crime lord."
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Netflix has formally announced an eight-episode limited series based on the film "Wet Hot American Summer" (@Netflix); screenwriter Robert Rodat and Gail Berman's The Jackal Group are developing a TV drama series "centering on the late-1800s newspaper circulation wars between publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst" (Deadline.com); Lena Dunham will visit "The Simpsons" as "Homer's new squeeze during a trial separation from Marge" (THR.com); and Spanish pop star David Bisbal will guest on "Jane the Virgin" as himself (TVLine.com).
