COVERBAND (CBS, New!) - Matt Tarses ("The Goldbergs") is looking to import the 2014 New Zealand comedy, "about members of a rock band left to scramble after their lead singer dumps them for a solo career." The project is set up at Sony Pictures Television with Happy Madison's Doug Robinson also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
MEET.MATE.MULTIPLY. (ABC, New!) - Darlene Hunt ("The Big C") has sold a new comedy to the Alphabet. Sony Pictures Television-based Happy Madison is behind the project, details of which weren't released. The company's Doug Robinson will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
