FRISKY TURNS FELONIOUS ON INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S NEW SERIES - "SEX SENT ME TO THE SLAMMER" PREMIERING FEBRUARY 6

-- Outrageous Stories Serve As Important Lessons Ahead of Valentine's Day Celebration --

(Silver Spring, MD) - Don't let furry handcuffs turn into real jailbird shackles... that's the official warning from Investigation Discovery's new series, SEX SENT ME TO THE SLAMMER, premiering Friday, February 6 with back-to-back episodes at 10/9c and 10:30/9:30c. With Valentine's Day around the corner, couples will be tempted to turn up the heat on their bedroom antics, but this series cautions those sexual capers can lead to hot water with the law. Each episode features two darkly funny stories of people who literally get caught with their pants down while engaging in serious hanky-panky, or otherwise dare to tickle their fancy with sexcapades that end in not-so-sexy cuffs.

"With delightfully embarrassing stories of passionate encounters gone terribly wrong, SEX SENT ME TO THE SLAMMER serves as a cautionary tale to viewers," said Henry Schleiff, Group President of Investigation Discovery, Destination American, American Heroes Channel, Discovery Family Channel and Discovery Life. "While this is definitely not part of ID's public affairs initiative, there's no better time to play these amorous accounts of adventurous lovers than as we approach the most romantic day of the year!"

Each week, back-to-back episodes of SEX SENT ME TO THE SLAMMER features two love-gone-lockdown stories told though first-person interviews and recreations. The naughty tales vary from a geriatric couple who is a little too proud of their sexual prowess going on full display in a diner parking lot to a virgin who decides the beautiful woman in the bar will become his first... only to get caught up in a prostitution sting.

The premiere line-up of SEX SENT ME TO THE SLAMMER is as follows:

Then, a comedian gets more than he bargained for when he rents his studio to a party promoter who, unbeknownst to him, is known for throwing wild sex orgies.

The Preacher's Daughter/ L.A. Fourway Premieres Friday, February 6 at 10:30/9:30c A woman starts dating an ex-con and when she disappears; her friends are convinced she's been kidnapped. Then, a playboy meets a pack of wild women and thinks his foursome fantasy will come true, until they leave him in nothing but his boxers... and on his way to jail.

DUI Love You/ Flatbed Floozy Premieres Friday, February 13 at 10/9c Arizona bartender hooks up with a gorgeous woman, only to discover she's the same woman who got him thrown in jail months before. Then, former college basketball star goes on a sexual joy ride with a green-eyed beauty and gets busted by a cop who happens to be his new date's boyfriend.

The People vs Penelope Peaks/ Real Bad Lieutenant Premieres Friday, February 13 at 10:30/9:30c A couple tries to make friends with their new neighbors but when their porn business becomes exposed, local law enforcement take them down. Then a sex-addicted New Jersey police detective gets his comeuppance when his girlfriend cheats on him and his revenge backfires.

Ultimate Airgasm/ Elevator Shaft Premieres Friday, February 20 at 10/9c Taking sex to the skies, a couple does the deed while skydiving and of course, captures it all on tape. But when their video goes viral, it alerts the police and the FAA, who immediately ground the daring duo. Then, a young man and his lady are inspired to have sex in a shopping mall elevator but their antics turn out to be a bust.
