BRAVO MEDIA'S "BEST NEW RESTAURANT" COOKS UP NEW LINKEDIN SOCIAL CONTEST "THE MENTORSHIP" FOR FANS

New York, NY - February 4, 2015 - Bravo Media today announced "The Mentorship," a social contest that will offer fans of the network's new culinary competition series "Best New Restaurant" a chance to shadow the staff at one of executive producer and host Tom Colicchio's NYC-based restaurants. The winner will get a behind-the-scenes look at how the world-renowned chef and restaurateur manages one of the top kitchens in New York City.

Starting today via LinkedIn, fans can submit themselves for the coveted opportunity by commenting on Bravo's page and declaring their passion for the restaurant industry. Unlike most listings on LinkedIn, no previous restaurant experience is necessary for this rare opportunity - "Best New Restaurant" fans, Bravo enthusiasts and general foodies are all welcome to enter. Following the first round of entries, a select group of candidates will be asked to submit a self-shot video "interview" answering select questions. Tom will then select one winner from those finalists.

The winning fan will spend time in one of Tom's NYC restaurants shadowing staff from every part of the business including front of house, the dining room and the kitchen to get a once-in-a-lifetime look into how a Colicchio and his team serve up a marquee restaurant experience. The winner will also have the opportunity to meet the chefs, see the ins-and-outs of service and finish the experience off with a spectacular meal. The contest opens today, with submissions accepted until February 18, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

"Best New Restaurant" takes a look at the food world from a fresh direction: the restaurant. The 16 competing establishments are judged not only the dishes that are served, but also everything from décor to hospitality to overall concept. Tune in to tonight's episode at 10pm ET/PT where two restaurants specializing in unique service models face off. The Church Key in Los Angeles entertains diners with its dim sum and drink carts, while Restaurant Jezebel in Austin promises customized menus for its diners. Will the restaurants live up to their creative concepts? For more information, visit: http://www.bravotv.com/best-new-restaurant.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the 48 US or DC who are 21 or older. Begins February 4, 2015 at 12:00 PM ET and ends on February 18, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET. Limit 1 entry per person.
