MTV's "Ultimate Fan Experience" Presented by Applebee's Gives a Die-Hard Fan the Opportunity to Meet the Band, Hang out on Their Tour Bus and Sit Front and Center at Their Upcoming Tour

New York, NY/ Kansas, MO (March 3, 2015) - Want to spend a day with 5 Seconds of Summer? Now is your chance. MTV today announced that it will give one die-hard fan and their bestie the experience of a lifetime from Australian pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer, also known as Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin, with the "Ultimate Fan Experience" campaign presented by Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar(R). The band who have been wowing audiences worldwide will give the winner and guest unmatched access while on their "The Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour which kicks off this summer.

Additionally, the winner and their guest will end their summer with VIP treatment from the band including round trip airfare to Atlanta, 5-star accommodations, front row seats at the first U.S. tour date, receive a private acoustic set on their tour bus and personalized 5 Seconds of Summer items.

Beginning today, MTV and Applebee's will run a series of spots across MTV's various channels and screens (including MTV, MTV Hits, MTV.com, mtvU and MTV Artists) to encourage fans to head to UFE.MTV.com to enter for a chance to win. Additional "Ultimate Fan Experiences" featuring various artists will rollout throughout 2015.

MTV piloted the "Ultimate Fan Experience" last year where it quickly became a hit with fans and artists alike. Artists who have participated in the campaign include Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran.

5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian pop-punk band. The quartet's debut self-titled album, due July 22 on Capitol Records in the U.S., peaked at No. 1 on iTunes in 69 different countries when released. Formed in Sydney in 2011, the band consists of Luke Hemmings (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass guitar, vocals) and Ashton Irwin (drums, vocals). Their EP She Looks So Perfect debuted at No. 2 in the U.S. on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and No. 1 on iTunes in over 50 countries.
