Based on the Novels by Peter King
Dylan Neal ("Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove") and Brooke Burns ("Baywatch," "The Most Wonderful Time of Year") cook up a well-done "whodunit" in a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original Movie World Premiere, "Gourmet Detective" Saturday, May 16, (9pm ET/PT, 8C.) The film, which is the first in an all new Mystery Movie Series, stars Neal as a chef-turned-sleuth whose expertise in the kitchen helps him solve culinary crimes. Neal co-writes the script with his wife Becky Southwell, as well as Executive Produces the film, based on the series of books by Peter King. "Gourmet Detective" also stars Ali Skovbye ("One Christmas Eve"), Laura Mennell ("Haven") and Bill Dow ("When Calls the Heart").

Famed culinary consultant Henry Ross is a charming food industry insider in San Francisco. When suspicious sabotage ends in a shocking murder at his friend's five-star restaurant, Henry is put on the case with strong-willed police detective and single mom, Maggie Price. Despite Maggie's protests, they must work together to decipher the clues and investigate all of San Francisco's top culinary pros.
"Gourmet Detective" is a Muse Entertainment production. Michael Prupas, Joel S. Rice, Dylan Neal, Becky Southwell, Steve Valentine and Scott Smith are the executive producers. Harvey Kahn is the producer. Scott Smith directs from a script by Dylan Neal and Becky Southwell. Based on the novel The Gourmet Detective by Peter King.
