FOX SPORTS TEAMS WITH FOX'S GAME-CHANGING HIT SHOW "EMPIRE" TO DEBUT FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP(TM) PROMO TONIGHT

FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP(TM) 2015 is coming to FOX and FOX Sports 1 in June, and with a strong U.S Women's National Team expected to make a run at its third championship, it will no doubt be the talk of the nation for weeks. Right now, the game-changing FOX primetime hit EMPIRE is the talk of the nation, and the two come together as FOX Sports breaks a brand new 15-second promo during tonight's two-hour season finale, airing at 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX, to promote its Women's World Cup coverage. The cross-promotion on FOX is one example of the many company-wide collaborations planned to promote the major international tournament in the months between now and June. The spot is a music video featuring the triumph, determination and grit of the U.S. Women's National Team overcoming challenges to rise to top of their game, scored with music from EMPIRE. The player footage is set over the song "Conqueror" featuring Estelle and Jussie Smollett off the EMPIRE soundtrack, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 Album chart this week. After its worldwide debut tonight the spot runs on FOX Sports 1 for three weeks.
