"YOUNGER," TV LAND'S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED AND BUZZWORTHY SERIES FROM DARREN STAR, GETS SEASON TWO PICK-UP

New York, NY - April 21, 2015 - Critics and fans alike are buzzing about "Younger," and TV Land has been listening! The network announced today that its critically acclaimed original series, "Younger," starring Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor and Nico Tortorella, has been picked up for a 12-episode second season. The series, which is executive produced and created for television by Emmy(R) Award-winning writer/producer Darren Star, is now in its first season on TV Land, airing Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT. All episodes can currently be watched for free on Hulu and TVLand.com.

"'Younger' is the first step in TV Land's evolution, and we are very proud to announce a second season," said Keith Cox, Executive Vice President of Development and Original Programming for TV Land. "We're thrilled to continue working with Darren, and really eager to see where he takes this story and our amazing cast next."

"We couldn't be more excited that audiences are discovering 'Younger' and falling in love with our fabulous cast," added Darren Star. "I can't wait to have everyone back in New York to shoot season two."

In addition to universal praise, other highlights for "Younger" include:

· To date, "Younger" has been viewed by 20 million people across multiple networks and multiple platforms, including TV Land, Nick at Nite, Hulu, VOD and TVLand.com.

· A "Certified Fresh" 96% rating on RottenTomatoes.com.

· Growing legions of fans on social media, including a +70% increase of likes on Facebook and a +63% increase of followers on Instagram.

"Younger" follows Liza (Foster), a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing - and succeeds. Now working under the prickly Diana (Shor), Liza has to figure out how to balance her real life with bestie Maggie (Mazar), and her "pretend" life with new friend and coworker Kelsey (Duff)... all while embarking on an exciting and somewhat confusing relationship with sexy tattoo artist Josh (Tortorella).

The first season, shot in Brooklyn and New York City, will see guest stars including Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock"), Ana Gasteyer ("Saturday Night Live"), Emmy(R) Award winner Martha Plimpton ("Raising Hope"), Peter Hermann ("Law & Order: SVU") and Kathy Najimy ("Sister Act"). The season finale is scheduled to air Tuesday, June 9th at 10pm ET/PT on TV Land.
