VH1 Picks Up "Barely Famous" for Season Two
The series features sisters Erin and Sara Foster offering a tongue-in-cheek perspective on the culture of reality TV and the hypocrisy of everyday life in Los Angeles.

VH1 PICKS UP "BARELY FAMOUS" FOR SEASON TWO

(New York, NY) April 28, 2015- VH1 has renewed the critically-acclaimed series "Barely Famous" featuring Erin and Sara Foster for a second season. Season two is slated to premiere in 2016.

"We're so proud of Erin and Sara and the hilarious show that they've created," said Susan Levison, EVP, Original Programming & Production, VH1. "To see the show is to love the show, which smartly delivered on their original goal - to present a humorous take on reality TV and the rarified world of Hollywood. VH1's series "Barely Famous" features sisters Erin and Sara Foster (multi-hyphenate producers, actresses and writers) offering a tongue-in-cheek perspective on the culture of reality TV and the hypocrisy of everyday life in Los Angeles. Erin and Sara portray sisters who navigate the treacherous LA waters of career and dating, all while trying to maintain their picture perfect image. "Barely Famous" centers around two sisters who say they would never do a reality show, but are being filmed by a camera crew. The series features their awkward celebrity encounters and efforts to book their next big gig-- which usually go horribly wrong in their trademark humorous style.

"Barely Famous" is executive produced by Jason Carbone & Nick Lee for Good Clean Fun and Oly Obst, Josh Lieberman & Kimberly Carver for 3 Arts. Erin and Sara Foster also serve as executive producers. Executive producing for VH1 are Susan Levison, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly, Fernando Mills and Tricia Biggio.
