2015-16 BROADCAST PILOTS... - The CW has reportedly passed on its three remaining pilots, "Dead People," "Cheerleader Death Squad" and "Tales from the Darkside" (Deadline.com); FOX likewise won't be moving forward with its comedy efforts "DeTour", "Fantasy Life" and Dana Klein's "The Perfect Stanleys" (Deadline.com); ABC has passed on its multi-camera pilots "Delores & Jermaine," "Family Fortune," "Knoxville" and "Brainy" (formerly "Nerd Herd") (Deadline.com); the Alphabet has also "put the brakes on" its Adrianne Palicki/Nick Blood-led spin-off of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (Deadline.com);

FOX reportedly is looking for a new showrunner for the Tom Kapinos-penned "Lucifer" in anticipation of a series order (Deadline.com); Greg Malins has closed a deal to run FOX's "The Grinder," contingent on a release from his NBC pilot "Take It from Us" (Deadline.com); and NBC will recast the role of Tracy on "People Are Talking" due to Meaghan Rath's first position status on FOX's "The Guide to Surviving Life," both of which were ordered to series (Deadline.com).


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Ilene Chaiken has inked a new two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, where she'll continue at the helm of the studio's smash hit "Empire" (Deadline.com); Mercedes Mason is the latest to be cast in "Fear the Walking Dead" with Ruben Blades likewise in talks to recur (Deadline.com); Dave Coulier will reprise his role on "Fuller House," which has likewise tapped Mark Cendrowski to direct (Instagram.com); Eliza Coupe has booked a five-episode arc on Hulu's "Casual" as "the perfect match for Tommy Dewey's Alex" (THR.com); and Kristen Bell will drop by "The Simpsons" as "a very wealthy, semi-spoiled friend of Lisa" (EW.com).
