MY SWEET AUDRINA (Lifetime, New!) - The cable channel is bringing another V.C. Andrews novel to the small screen, with India Eisley, James Tupper and William Moseley already attached to star. "My Sweet Audrina" centers on Audrina (Eisley), "a young girl with an inability to recall past events in her life. Living in her family's secluded mansion, Audrina is kept alone and out of sight and is haunted by nightmares of her older sister, First Audrina, who was left for dead in the woods after an attack. Everyone in her family knows the secret surrounding First Audrina's death except Audrina herself. As she begins to question her past and her disturbing dreams, the grim truth is slowly revealed." Tupper will play Audrina's father, Damian, with Moseley as her love interest, Arden. Mike Rohl will direct from a script by Scarlett Lacey with Dan Angel and Jane Startz executive producing and Harvey Kahn producing for Everywhere Studios, Jane Startz Productions and Front Street Productions. 2015-16 BROADCAST PILOTS... - FOX's comedy pilot "Fantasy Life" may be revisited during the next development cycle (Deadline.com); and NBC has opted against a series order for its comedy pilot "Strange Calls" which may be redeveloped as a one-hour series (Deadline.com).


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz are among those already slated to guest on the new season of "Empire" (Deadline.com); Stephanie Mills, who played Dorothy in the original Broadway production of "The Wiz," has signed onto NBC's upcoming "The Wiz Live!" special as Auntie Em (Deadline.com); Selma Blair has been cast as Kris Jenner in FX's "American Crime Story" while Billy Magnussen is set as Kato Kaelin (Deadline.com, EW.com); FOX has formally pulled the plug on newcomer "Weird Loners" (THR.com); Riley Voelkel's Freya will be promoted to series regular on "The Originals" next season (TVLine.com); and Morena Baccarin's Leslie Thompkins is likewise set to return as a regular on "Gotham" (TVLine.com).
