ONE BIG CITY, FIVE FEARLESS PEOPLE: SHOWTIME(R) PRESENTS "3AM"

New Late Night Docu-Series Premieres Thursday, May 28th at 11:00 P.M. (ET/PT)

Los Angeles, CA (May 11, 2015) - Ever wonder where the night will take you in the city that never sleeps? Take a penetrating joyride into the bizarro world of late-night New York City. 3AM is a high-energy documentary series that follows a cornucopia of characters - drag queens, artists, escorts, and other insomniacs, all trying to turn fantasy into reality while flaunting every rule in the book. Executive Producer Dick Wolf says, "There's nothing like this on TV." Anything goes at this hour, so leave all inhibitions at the door. While most respectable folks are tucked in at home, the bolder and braver outlaw set are out defying the norms of acceptable and conventional behavior in a search for love, sex, fame and notoriety that can only come as the clock strikes 3.

3AM is a docu-series that weaves together the stories of five New Yorkers - Josh ("The Fat Jew"), an internet celebrity and self-described "Magellan" of nightlife in the Big Apple; Kirill ("Kirill Was Here") a nightlife photographer who gets even the most uptight girls to strip in the clubs; Vashtie ("Va$htie") a gorgeous DJ forced to deal with her troubled past; Markus, a glamorous doorman and stand-up comedian who decides who's in and who's out; and Samantha ("Abby") a beautiful escort who longs for a more normal life but struggles to walk away. In each episode, characters are tracked across a single night, building to a special "3am moment," when something important and life changing happens. Stories cross not only the night but also the season. Our subjects' lives may all be different but they all share one thing in common - a love for the wild ride that only happens at 3am. Buckle up!

3AM is Executive Produced by Dick Wolf and Tom Thayer with Wolf Reality, Banks Tarver and Ken Druckerman from Left/Right (part of the Red Arrow Entertainment Group) and Marie McGovern.
