SPIKE TV PICKS UP 10 EPISODES OF "HARVEST" FROM JERRY BRUCKHEIMER AND WARNER HORIZON TELEVISION

First One-Hour Scripted Dramatic Series On Spike In Nine Years To Debut In 2016

New York, NY, August 13, 2015 - On the heels of the successful scripted event-series "Tut," Spike has greenlit its first dramatic scripted series in nine years. Spike has partnered with legendary film/television producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Warner Horizon Television for the original scripted one-hour drama series "Harvest."

The 10-episode series will go into production this fall and will debut on Spike in 2016.

"We are thrilled to partner with the incredibly creative and innovative visionary Jerry Bruckheimer and Warner Horizon Television for our first scripted dramatic series in almost a decade," said Sharon Levy, Executive Vice President, Original Series, Spike TV. "We are confident that Harvest will build off the success of Tut which delivered strong ratings and new viewers to the channel."

"It is very exciting to have the opportunity to be the first scripted series on Spike," said Bruckheimer. "This network is the perfect place to push the envelope with edgy characters and unique material. Sharon Levy and her team have supported and nurtured this great concept."

"Harvest" centers on a dedicated father, working two jobs to support his teenage daughter and give her the life he never had. By day, he's a cemetery caretaker, by night he attends nursing school. However, when his own estranged father tracks him down and threatens to expose a terrible secret - he is compelled to partner with him in a black-market tissue and body parts trade.

"Harvest" is written by Ian Sobel & Matt Morgan ("12 Monkeys," "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series"). Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman are executive producers, and KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producer. Sobel & Morgan are co-executive producers on "Harvest," from Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Warner Horizon Television.

Levy, Ted Gold, Senior Vice President, Scripted Original Series, and Justin Lacob, Vice President, Original Series, will oversee the project.

Spike TV debuted its first scripted event series in eight years, "Tut" in late July to strong ratings. Other projects in development include "When The Levee Breaks" from renowned film screenwriter Kurt Wimmer; "The Crusaders" from Pierce Brosnan's Irish DreamTime, Sennet Entertainment, Michael Finch and Academy Award(R)-winning writer David Franzoni; "Deep Web" with producer/director/writer Tony Krantz of Flame Ventures; "The Chairman," based on the Stephen Frey best-seller; "Red Mars" from Vince Gerardis, Co-Executive Producer of HBO's "Game of Thrones," based on Kim Stanley Robinson's "Mars Trilogy;" "Emergency Broadcast" from Legendary Pictures and Thomas Tull; and "War at the Shore" based on Richard D. "Skip" Bronson's book.
