THE JEFFERSONIAN JUST ADDED A NEW SQUINTERN TO THEIR ROSTER... AND SHE'S AMAZING.

BETTY WHITE TO GUEST-STAR ON FOX DRAMA "BONES"

Betty White will guest-star on an upcoming episode of BONES as "Dr. Beth Mayer," an accomplished, sharp as a tack, absolutely fabulous SQUINTERN who is brought in to assist in a murder linked to fantasy football -- which just happens to be one of her many areas of expertise!

With a half century of work under her belt, Dr. Mayer is without a doubt the world's most experienced forensic anthropologist, which will lead to some serious competition with Dr. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to prove who is the more brilliant scientist!

The episode is scheduled to air in October.

BONES Premieres Thursday, Oct. 1 @ 8/7c on FOX

With a career that has spanned more than 70 years, seven-time Emmy Award winner Betty White has created unforgettable roles in television and film, authored eight books and won numerous awards, including those for her lifelong work for animal welfare. Most recently, she won a People's Choice Award for "Favorite TV Icon," was named America's Most Appealing Celebrity by Reuters and has been added to the Guinness World Records under the title, "Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female)."

In 2015, White received the TV Land Legend Award and Daytime Emmy's Lifetime Achievement Award. She also wrapped the sixth and final season on the TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland."

White is and perhaps will always be best known for her recurring role as Happy Homemaker "Sue Ann Nivens" in the classic comedy "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," which brought her two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress, in 1974-75 and 1975-76.
