ABC Launches a Fun Stunt Ahead of the "Dr. Ken" Premiere
The stunt will feature over 500,000 "Dr. Ken" branded pharmacy bags being distributed in pharmacies throughout New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas.

ABC LAUNCHES A FUN STUNT AHEAD OF THE "DR. KEN" PREMIERE

The saying goes, "laughter is always the best medicine". . .so in honor of "Dr. Ken," ABC's new Friday night comedy series, the network has started taking over pharmacies across the country. The stunt will feature over 500,000 "Dr. Ken" branded pharmacy bags being distributed in pharmacies throughout New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas. Additionally in Los Angeles (and select New York) pharmacies, "Dr. Ken" branded band aids will also be given out beginning on SEPTEMBER 18.

The series premiere of "Dr. Ken" airs on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 on the ABC Television Network. In the show's premiere episode, Ken is stressed out at work over his "whining, complaining" patients so he needs a session with his therapist/wife; while back at home, Ken is nervous about his daughter's driving test - "What if she doesn't fail!"

"Dr. Ken" stars Ken Jeong as Dr. Ken, Suzy Nakamura as Allison, Tisha Campbell Martin as Damona, Jonathan Slavin as Clark, Kate Simses as Julie, Albert Tsai as Dave, Krista Marie Yu as Molly, and Dave Foley as Pat.

The "Pilot" was written by Jared Stern and directed by Scott Ellis. Executive producers are Mike Sikowitz, John Davis and John Fox. Ken Jeong and Mike O'Connell are co-executive producers. "Dr. Ken" is produced by Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios.

"Dr. Ken" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
