"DEVIOUS MAIDS" RENEWED FOR FOURTH SEASON

Lifetime to Bring Back Hit Series from Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria for another Devilish Season Next Year

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 24, 2015) - Lifetime's hit series Devious Maids (#DeviousMaids, #DeviousArmy) will return for a devilish fourth season next year, it was announced today by Liz Gateley, Executive Vice President of Programming for Lifetime. The network has ordered 10 episodes of the ABC Studios-produced program, which is executive produced by Marc Cherry, Eva Longoria, Sabrina Wind and Brian Tanen, and stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramírez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes and Susan Lucci.

Regarding the announcement, Gateley, said, "Devious Maids is a steady hit that continues to deliver for us. It has found a loyal audience that is socially engaged with the show. The entire writing and production team worked hard to up the storytelling this year and the cast delivered great performances, so the show just gets better and better. I am very excited to renew it for another season."

Last season, Devious Maids drove Lifetime to rank as the number two cable network with scripted programming in the Monday 9-10pm time period among Women 25-54 and Women 18-49, while its August 24 season finale reached season highs among Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Women 25-54. In addition, the program's stars Ortiz, Ramírez, Sánchez and Reyes each received an Imagen Award nomination for Best Actress - Television.

Devious Maids is set in a world where murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills' wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty and downright as devilish as their employers. The series centers on a close-knit group of maids, Marisol (Ortiz), Rosie (Ramírez), Carmen (Sánchez) and Zoila (Reyes), who are bonded together by their jobs, life struggles and the melodramatic universe that engulfs their employers. Devious Maids also stars Grant Show, Rebecca Wisocky and Tom Irwin. Brianna Brown and Brett Cullen made a return to the series this past season, joining other cast members Naya Rivera, Gilles Marini, Cristián de la Fuente, John O'Hurley, Justina Machado, Nathan Owens and Julie Claire.

Inspired by the hit telenovela, Ellas son... la alegría del hogar, Devious Maids is produced by ABC Studios. The series was created by Marc Cherry and is executive produced by Cherry, Sabrina Wind, Eva Longoria, Brian Tanen, Larry Shuman, David Lonner, John Mass, Ric Swartzlander and Televisa USA's Paul Presburger and Michael Garcia.
