ESQUIRE NETWORK DIVES IN HEAD FIRST WITH THE NEW SEASON OF "GOING DEEP WITH DAVID REES" BEGINNING WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 11TH

Host David Rees Will Go On a Nation-Wide Road Trip to Promote the Series

LOS ANGELES- OCTOBER 6, 2015-For the first time ever on the Esquire Network, comedian, writer and entrepreneur David Rees reveals the not-so-obvious complexities of life's seemingly simple tasks in the new season of "Going Deep with David Rees" beginning Wednesday, November 11th at 10pm ET/PT. In each half-hour episode, David plays scientific and anthropological host to this "how-to" show of epic proportions. By delving into the science and history behind ordinary tasks, he attempts to deconstruct the obvious to increase awareness and astonishment. With guest appearances from Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tompkins, Bernard Hopkins, Aimee Mann, John Hodgman and foremost experts in science and technology, David reveals why day-to-day life requires a lot more brainwork than most people think. From how to properly pet a dog to how to take a nap, "Going Deep with David Rees" takes viewers into David's molecular thought process. To promote the series, David will embark on an "analog" social media tour - where he drives cross-country from NYC to LA, posting paper flyers on telephone poles and in grocery stores, getting the word out about the show and telling people he meets how to find the Esquire Network on their TVs. Says Rees, "When I started talking about promoting the show on social media, I was worried it would mean I'd have to spend even more time on my dumb phone begging people for retweets, likes and all that other stuff. I was reminiscing about the good old days when 'promoting something on social media' meant walking around and talking to people. Analog social media is the most rewarding social media. #AnalogMediaTourisGoingDeepWithDavidReesHowCoolisThat." The rubber hits the road when David sets off on his self-titled "Analog Social Media Tour" beginning Sunday, October 18th through Friday, October 30th.

"Going Deep with David Rees" is produced by True Entertainment, XCON Productions and Omelette Bar Productions, with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Jo Honig, Christine Connor, Dan Miller and David Rees serving as executive producers.
