Kaufman Will Introduce Viewers to Brilliant Minds and Breakthrough Technologies

Los Angeles, CA (October 28, 2015)-- Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC [NASDAQ: IACI], has teamed up with innovation expert and world-renowned tech personality Dan Kaufman to create The Future, a revolutionary new series that offers viewers an insider's look at today's cutting-edge technology and paints a captivating picture of how it will shape our lives.

Dan Kaufman currently serves as Deputy Director of Google's Advanced Technology and Projects group. Previously, he served as Director of Information Innovation for the Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where the office he ran was responsible for creating Apple's Siri and other revolutionary technologies. Prior to his work at DARPA, Kaufman rose to prominence as Co-COO of DreamWorks Interactive, where he worked with Bill Gates and Steven Spielberg to develop some of the most popular video games on the market, including Medal of Honor. Kaufman learned computer programming at UC San Diego and holds a J.D. from UCSF School of Law.

In The Future, Kaufman will meet with the world's most brilliant and influential innovators and take viewers on a one-of-a-kind journey from the origins of technology, to the state of the art today, to a future that is both beyond our wildest imaginings and closer than we think. Covering everything from health and education to entertainment and transportation, each episode will focus on a specific subject matter, with emphasis on how today's most advanced innovations will impact humanity. Whether it's radical new technology or everyday gadgetry, The Future will offer mind-blowing takeaways that are sure to spark conversation at the proverbial water cooler.

"Dan Kaufman has had his finger on the pulse of 'what's next' for years - what we'll want, how we'll change, and what technologies we'll need," said Chris Grant, CEO of Electus. "Dan's ability to explain the most advanced concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for all audiences is unparalleled. There's no better person to introduce us to what our future will look like, and we are excited and honored to work with one of the leading and most respected personalities in the tech world."
