244 DEGREES OF FREEDOM (FOX, New!) - Steve Maeda ("Helix") has sold a new drama to the network which "takes place in a world where robots have evolved in intelligence, influence, and social status, and humans have been relegated to a permanent underclass - until one man is driven to lead a rebellion against the machines, risking everything to uncover a conspiracy that could spell the end of the human race." 20th Century Fox Television is the studio. (Deadline.com)

COLLISION (NBC, New!) - Anthony Horowitz is looking to import his U.K. event series at the Peacock. The proposed 10-episode effort, which would go straight to series, "tells the story of a group of strangers whose lives are forever changed following a major road accident. Beyond the crumpled cars are invisible dramas, and when the police start their investigation they find themselves drawn into many different and dangerous worlds including government cover-ups, smuggling, torn relationships and murder." Eleventh Hour Films, TriStar Television and Carol Mendelsohn Productions are all behind the project with Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz also executive producing. (Deadline.com)

DEAD MANN WALKING (CBS, New!) - Simon Barry ("Continuum") is developing a new drama at the Eye set "in the near future, when a police detective who had been executed for murdering his wife takes a miracle drug and is brought back to life as a "second-class citizen" working as a private investigator while looking for his wife's real killer." The project, from CBS Television Studios, is based on Stefan Petrucha's novel of the same name. Stephen Hegyes will also executive produce for Reality Distortion Field. (THR.com)

FASCINOMA (CBS, New!) - Steve Maeda ("Helix") has likewise set up a potential drama at the Eye about "a scientist on the road to redemption who heads up the FBI's Scientific Response Unit, a team called in when traditional law enforcement is baffled by any crime that involves science." Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly also serve as executive producers via their CBS Television Studios-based Timberman/Beverly banner. (Deadline.com)

RECALL (CBS, New!) - Mark Goffman, Bret VandenBos and Brandon Willer are all set to team for a new drama at the Eye about "a brilliant inventor. When he discovers a way to travel back in time 24 hours, he and his team join forces with the CIA, going into the past to prevent crimes and other disastrous events from happening." Said effort is set up at CBS Television Studios-based Timberman/Beverly with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED JOHN PHILLIPS PROJECT (NBC, New!) - John Phillips (Dirty Grandpa) has booked a new single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "a brother and sister illegally use their access to law enforcement information at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office to start a private detective agency right under the noses of their bosses and solve the cases that fall in between the cracks." 20th Century Fox Television-based Lord Miller is behind the project, which has a penalty attached. The company's Phil Lord and Chris Miller then will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)

Television (THR.com); Keegan-Michael Key, Ed Weeks and Brianna Baker are among the latest faces bound for "House of Lies" (THR.com); and Greg Germann will recur on "Once Upon a Time" as "´┐Ża mysterious figure with god-like powers who is always clad in a perfectly tailored suit" (TVLine.com).
